KIDTROPOLIS is the Children’s Ministry of Lake Forest Church-Huntersville and is dedicated to “loving kids as they discover and live out their role in God’s story.”
We strive to create an environment that is a safe and happy place for both you and your child. When children come to Lake Forest Church they are cared for by nurturing, trained leaders and find a connection to God and friends in fun, safe and engaging environments.
Offered Sundays at 8:10 am, 9:30 am and 11:05 am
Pre-registration is not required.
It’s important to us that you feel your kiddo is in good hands so that you can participate in worship with no distractions and worry-free. Every person who works with children at Lake Forest must first pass a background check and receive proper training.
Plan to arrive 15 minutes before the service starts. We’ll check your child into the appropriate program using our computer kiosks, get to know him or her and introduce you to the leaders they will be staying with during service. Parents and kids receive matching identification tags that allow us to note any allergies or special needs your child may have, page you during the service if needed and to ensure only you can pick up your child after service. It’s a good idea to arrive at least 10 minutes before service starts to make sure we can get you settled in without feeling rushed.
We love the ParentCue App and think you will, too!
It can help you:
1. Develop your child’s character with expertise from childhood development leaders, educators, and real parents just like you.
2. Build an everyday faith through fun Bible story videos, memory verses, prayers, and conversation prompts.
3. Establish a lasting connection by making the most of the moments you already spend together at morning time, meal time, drive time, and bedtime.
Join our Children’s Ministry team of “Heroes” by providing a nurturing and dynamic environment to learn about and experience God in our Early Childhood and Elementary programs (Infants – 5th grade). There’s opportunity to greet and check-in families, lead small groups, provide technical support, sing, act, or create as you partner with parents on the spiritual growth of their children.
If you have a heart for leading children and are eager to share God’s lessons and love, we hope you will consider a role in Kidtropolis.
